We are a non-profit fighting mental health through leadership, character & resiliency programs.

Focus

Youth Sports

Today’s youth and teens are under enormous pressure to succeed.  Anxiety and depression are at an all time high.  Youth Sports have the power to be the antidote rather than part of the poison.  We are working with youth sports programs to empower coaches to maximize their platform and turn the sports fields into classrooms for building resilient leaders and giving our youth tools for a lifetime of navigating a complex world.

Veterans & Law Enforcement

Our veterans and law enforcement officers work hard to keep our nation and our communities safe; we are working to keep them safe!  The invisible wounds of war our veterans bring home from war and the daily stress and risk our law enforcement community face require hope, help, and healing. Through our partnerships we help at both the individual and organizational level to provide assistance to those in need.

Community Partners

We partner with, volunteer for, and fund other non-profits. From healthcare and homelessness to arts and academia, FS Foundation strives to empower leaders making an impact in our communities.

Our Team

BJ Kraemer

Friendly Strife Foundation was launched in 2021 as a non-profit platform to make an impact on causes near and dear to our hearts.  As a former Division I swimmer and lifelong athlete, BJ Kraemer, believes in the power of youth sports to teach, inspire, and prepare athletes to be leaders of character beyond the sports field to their classrooms, communities and beyond.  As a West Point graduate and combat veteran, BJ believes in supporting the veteran community to overcome the scars of war, unlock their leadership capability and live a life of impact.

Michael Fuhrman

From an early age, Michael focused on community service as a Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA) Volunteer.  Through that experience, he saw first hand how the right nonprofits with the right leadership and the right community partnerships can make an impact.  He is passionate about developing our youths future potential and serves on the Board of Camden County Board of Education, the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center Neuroscience Advisory Board, and the Long Beach Island Arts and Science Foundation. Additionally, as a stroke survivor, Michael is heavily involved in advancing medical research in the recovery of Tramatic Brain Injury (TBI).
